N.Y. law puts rebate forms on Web PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 17 March 2006

A New York law will force retailers to publish rebate forms on the Web page where a product is sold, or at least place a link to the form on that page, according to The Wave of Long Island (March 17).

Assemblywoman Audrey I. Pheffer said Friday that the state assembly passed her bill, according to The Wave.

The bill's description in the legislative record says:

"Requires certain rebate redemption forms to be accessible as a printable document on the internet page on which the product is purchased or an internet page accessible by a hyperlink from the page on which the product is purchased."
